Neuromuscular Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Swedish Massage are her specialties, but she utilizes other modalities depending on what your needs may be.

Sarah Martyn, LMT, RYT

Tuesday 9:30-3:00 pm
Thursday 9:30-3:00 pm
Saturday 9:30-5:00 pm

Sarah is Licensed Massage Therapist as well as a Classical Yoga teacher. She graduated from the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in 2009, with a strong education base in anatomy, pathology and practical application. She has worked in a variety of settings from medical offices to high-end spas, and has a continued passion for increasing her knowledge and areas of expertise.

Her specialties truly come from her personal experiences. After suffering a debilitating neck injury in a severe car accident, she credits massage therapy, chiropractic care and Yoga for keeping her from spinal surgery, and continues to thrive in a place of maintenance. From this experience, she gained an appreciation of those with neck and shoulder issues, and now specializes in deep and specific neck and back work, seeking continuing education in the refinement of these specific skills as much as possible.

Her second specialty is Prenatal care. As the daughter of a midwife, an attendant at several births, and a mother of three herself, Sarah has vast and unique appreciation of this amazing time in a woman's life. Her Prenatal massages serve not only to assist in healing the mother-to-be's body, but in honoring her pregnancy as the transformative time that it is. Sarah also stresses the benefits to baby; when you are receiving a massage and entering deep relaxation, all those feel-good hormones coursing through your body are bathing right down to baby!
