  • Alexa Rodriguez, LCSW

    Individual and Group Supervision available

Alexa Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in a variety of settings including foster care/adoption, domestic violence/sexual assault, inpatient, and outpatient therapy. She approaches her clients and clinical work with curiosity, integrity, as well as a sense of humor.

What brought Alexa to this work was a curiosity in understanding and learning how to help others navigate life experiences. Social work values are reflected in her upbringing. Alexa comes from a large complex family and it has shaped how she views humanity, systems, culture, agency, and the importance of maintaining hope. She hopes to continue collaborative work with others so that they may enhance their skills to navigate the cycles of creating meaningful lives and protecting their peace. It has been Alexa’s interest to reflect on who she is, the work she does, and what it means for us as a collective.

Alexa is offering clinical supervision to post-Masters clinicians and those with a few years of experience in the field. Alexa received clinical supervision training through the Therapy Development Center and utilizes the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) in supervision. The IDM model supports supervisees in their professional growth by exploring the concepts of self-other, motivation, and autonomy while cultivating their unique therapeutic style.

Alexa hopes to create a safe collaborative space with supervisees who embrace empathy, social justice, and cultural awareness. In her free time, Alexa enjoys walking, camping, skiing, reality tv, watching sunsets, and stand up comedy.

  • Ted Koslowsky, LPC

Ted Koslowsky, M.S. LPC provides friendly, knowledgeable and fun clinical supervision for new, young, post-Master’s professionals, as well as those who are making a career change (Ted transitioned to counseling after spending years as an EMT in Boston). If you’re looking to hone your craft and make counseling part of (but not all of) who you are, this is your group.

Active participation and engagement by group members is encouraged! Members get support regarding current issues, challenges, and area of focus. We will review case presentations and discuss clinical topics, and receive feedback from all members of the group to maximize learning. Join us to process challenging cases and share references to outside resources (books, articles, training, workshops, etc.) so you can build your own tool library.

Ted has experience in PHP, IOP, community mental health, and private practice environments, and he holds certification in CBT and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, canoeing, and white water rafting, and building ceiling-mounted catwalks for his three cats – GG, Potato, and Cindy-Loo-Hoo. He also likes to bike around Philadelphia and listen to music.

In supervision, he takes the time to intentionally recognize and process the experience of being a therapist, working with other people, holding their stuff and ours while trying to make the best clinical decisions possible.
