Erika Todaro, MA, LPC

Seeking help when in emotional distress can be challenging and isolating, and Erika hopes to bring comfort and relief to that process. It can feel like no one understands what you might be experiencing, or may even be difficult to understand your own emotions. In processing those emotions, thoughts, or experiences, you can work towards achieving clarity, insight, and move forward towards acceptance and change. Erika’s initial goal in therapy is to make you feel comfortable and to build a therapeutic and healing relationship.

Erika has had the opportunity to work with clients with anxiety disorders (OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, etc), depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, co-occurring substance abuse/mental health diagnoses, relationship conflicts, bereavement, and perinatal/postpartum period.

She utilizes techniques from a myriad of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Person Centered Therapy, and an emphasis on mindfulness techniques.

Experiencing emotional pain doesn’t have to continue and you don’t have to go through it alone.
